In this day and age of high technology and the instant information age, have we gone to far when hiring an employee. There are companies that you can pay to get an instan online employee background check. These employee background checks, I believe are good, but I also think that if someone that is 30 years old, supporting a family, has a good job history, good references, does not deserve to have his dui brought up from when he was 17.
Fifteen years ago, when the internet wasn't around, what did employers do in regard to employee background checks? For the most part they just checked written references, or on rare occasions, I suppose, would pay large sums of money to do a full background check. I believe that we can go to far, at least when it comes to an employer. Their are most likely many top executives, ceo's, etc that might not have gotten their initial entry level job, had their been the level of employee background checks that are available today. Does this mean some companies might not have succeeded as well as they have.
Their are many companies out there these days that for $14 will tell you anything and everything you want to know about someone, almost instantly. I have reviewed a few of them, and found that one in particular is the best.
